These past two weeks we worked on negative space. We did this by using outlines, shapes and shadows to create negative space. I walked around Drew and found many different things I could work with. Also, for editing, I put the pictures in black and white to make the shapes pop more and also boosting the contrast helps with the shapes popping out.
Nice work this week Stefan! I really like all of your photos and the variety of ideas that you used throughout the series. Even with the variety all of the images seem to flow and go well together. I think the black and white really helped to bring the set together and make each image stronger individually. My favorites are the images of the roof lines of buildings, which create cool angles and shapes against the sky. Keep up the good work.

ReplyDeleteStefan, good job this week! I like how all of your photos work well with one another. The editing and the black and white makes all the images look more dramatic and interesting. My favorite is the first one because I can see the details in the sky and the building too. Good work!
