This week we were working on our personal series. I was working on negative space, and from previous reviews and comments I emphasized on a black and white with a boosted contrast effect, but mostly of leaves and foliage. There was some urban buildings in some of the photos, but those photos incorporate nature and only a little bit of urban man-made structures.
Stefan, good job this week. I like how all of your photos are in black and white. I can really see the negative spacing in each photo. I thought it was a good choice to make it black and white because I can see the negative spacing more. Good job and keep it up!
ReplyDeleteGood job this week. This set is very cohesive with the black and white and tree branches throughout each image. I think that some of the images look very similar to other images, so more variety would be one of my suggestions for next week. Also the lighting is a bit off in some of the pictures, the sky looks really super dark. But I really like all of your photos in general. Keep up the good work.
ReplyDeleteyour photos are nice. The addition of man made objects adds to the complexity of the negative space. But try to vary your photos a little more, they are starting to look similar. Good Work.
ReplyDeleteWow stefan great job.I really like your photos this week. I like that you added buildings in instead of just trees i felt like that gave the photos a little more complexity. overall great job but work on getting a little more variation on the photos.
ReplyDeleteGreat set Stefan! I really like how you chose to adjust and close your focus in on negative space between trees and shapes made from houses/architecture. I also like how you decided to make all your photos in black and white, it really ties all of your photos together into one cohesive set and show the negative space even better. The black and white makes really nice silhouettes of the trees and houses, which furthers the ease of seeing negative space. Keep it up!

Wow, great work on these photos Stefan! I like how you used black and white to emphasize the contrast in your photos, and I really like that you improved the focus of the photos this week to more obvious contrasts. Good job!
